Hallie Brewer
Hallie Brewer is a Texas-based artist and designer using her multifaceted practice to investigate the visual language of abstraction across various mediums. Through her practice, she examines ideas of both the natural world around us and the one within the self-using reconfigured fragments of places and memories. With over ten years of professional experience, she has partnered with many acclaimed Texas hotels and high-end brands to create installations and designs tailored to her client’s unique stories and spaces.
Hallie’s wallpaper collection is an extension of her printmaking practice where she combines material experimentation with visual simplicity. She used a digital collage process of cutting and layering previously printed works on paper to create fresh shapes and configurations. Despite this digital method, the patterns carry the remnants of her analog process - grainy textures, organic shapes, and unevenly colored surfaces.
